Are you part of a generational fishing family?   YES

If so how many generations are you?     3rd for me and my son and daughter are now 4th generation.

What was your reason or motivation for choosing professional fishing as a career?

Following and learning from my Dad and Grandad was a main influence of being a fishermen. I spent a lot of my childhood on the water. I have always loved fishing and being on the water, it has had its challenges but it makes it all worthwhile.

What are your top 3 species for your business?

  1. Blue Swimmer Crabs
  2. Mud Crabs
  3. Flathead

What is the most memorable moment for you during your fishing career?

Once I caught 240kg of flathead in one day in the estuary. That was a good catch.

I also was once thrown out of my own boat and nearly run over, that was a scary day.

What does the co-op mean to you?        OR          Why are you part of the co-op?

The co-op means I have a safe and secure base for my fishing business. Having this facility lets me put my energy into fishing and takes a lot of worry away.

What’s a hobby you have outside of fishing?

Cars are my hobby, I have always had an interest in cars.
