What was your reason or motivation for choosing professional fishing as a career?        

Since a very early age I fished with my Dad both commercially and for fun.

It’s a great lifestyle and I love boats and the water.

What is the most memorable moment for you during your fishing career?

Fishing for Spotty Mackeral, beautiful glassed out day. I filled the icebox with spotty mac and snapper – the best snapper was 11 kg.

What does the co-op mean to you?        OR          Why are you part of the co-op?

The coop is important to the fishing community for many reasons:

  • Sells my product for me
  • Outlet to sell to the public
  • Cost efficient
  • Convenient for – dropping off product, icing down & fuel
  • good facilities,
  • accessible by boat or car
  • Fantastic staff who are always willing to help

What’s a hobby you have outside of fishing?

I go up north with my family fishing for holidays so I would say fishing is also my hobby.

I do like to spend time with my fiancé and son whenever I can out on the water.
