Was a cabinet maker/French polisher by trade. Started helping with on the boat with dad as well and fell in love with the boat/fishing lifestyle and continuing the family business

What is the most memorable moment for you during your fishing career?
We were coming in after a night’s work and saw a sperm whale under Bennett’s head, At a safe distance we watched it Give birth to its calf. It was an unforgettable moment
What does the co-op mean to you? OR why are you part of the co-op?
The co-op gives us a secure foundation to weigh our product in. The co-op fisherman stand united to supply the community with a sustainable seafood resource
What’s a hobby you have outside of fishing?
Breeding exhibition budgies and playing a quick 18 holes of golf

Yes, I was on the board for 11 years with 7 of them being as the chairman.
