I have always loved seafood and fishing just appealed to me. Its been a good chose for a career.
What are your top 3 species for your business?
- School Prawns
- Mullet
- Bream
What is the most memorable moment for you during your fishing career?
I caught 1,100kg of school prawns in one shot once. That was a massive haul and I haven’t come close since that day.
What does the co-op mean to you? OR Why are you part of the co-op?
The co-op is important to my fishing business to have somewhere to supply my catch to that will process and sell it for me and have the security to be paid at the end of the week.
What’s a hobby you have outside of fishing?
I love to garden in my spare time.
